Job summary

Marsden Brewhouse, part of Laundy Hotels, is seeking a Duty Manager/Assistant Manager to lead daily operations across gaming, bars, restaurant, brewery, sports bar and events in a busy Western Sydney venue. You'll coach teams, drive service standards, ensure compliance with liquor licensing and WHS, and develop staff for future leadership roles.

Availability for nights, weekends and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or hospitality leader within a high-volume venue.
• Strong understanding of gaming, food and beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG qualifications.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across gaming, bars, restaurant, brewery, sports bar and events.
• Lead busy service periods while maintaining guest experiences.
• Coach and develop team members; ensure compliance and reporting.
• Manage labour, stock, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure liquor licensing and WHS compliance.
