Job summary

Rocky Ridge Brewing Co in WA's south west is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to run the floor alongside our Venue Manager. You will lead sections, mentor FOH staff, and ensure opening and closing standards while maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

You will make live labour calls, know the tap list, handle complaints on the spot, and contribute ideas on how the venue runs and feels. RSA and Approved Manager's Card are required, with 1+ years in a supervisory role preferred and

Qualifications

• Current RSA
• Approved Manager's Card — or willing to obtain one, we'll support the process
• 1+ years as a Duty Manager or supervisor in a licensed venue preferred, but not essential
• Availability across weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Running the floor on shift: sections, delegation, keeping bar, floor and kitchen talking to each other
• Training and mentoring the FOH crew — our casuals learn what good service looks like from you
• Opening and closing to standard
• Making live labour calls — who stays, who goes home, keeping wage cost honest against the trade in front of you
• Pouring and serving to standard, and knowing the tap list well enough to actually sell it
• Handling complaints calmly and fixing them on the spot, plus keeping an eye on reviews and feedback
• Keeping the venue safe — spills, hazards, the boring stuff that matters
• Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the venue to a very high standard
• Having real input into how the venue runs, what we serve and how it feels
