Job summary

The Ambassador Hotel Taipei – Redcliffe QLD is seeking a passionate and proactive Duty Manager to join our management team. This permanent full-time role reports to the Venue Manager and will lead staff, enhance customer experience and ensure compliant operations.

Applicants must have at least 12 months of hospitality management experience, current RSA, RSG, RMLV certificates and an Approved Managers licence, plus a hands-on, community-facing approach and strong personal presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in hospitality management.
• Must hold RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers licences.
• Experience in a suburban pub is advantageous.
• Ability to engage with the community and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Outgoing, energetic personality with strong presentation.
• Ability to implement and adhere to policies and procedures.

The Ambassador of Redcliffe is seeking a passionate & proactive Duty Manager to join our management team!

About us

The Fortitudo Group has a portfolio of eight hotels, along with four attached drive-thru bottle shops and a network of detached bottle shops. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for an up and coming independently owned hospitality group that values and nurtures their employees to maximise performance and personal growth.

About the role

This is a permanent full-time role that reports directly to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the team culture, customer experience and the compliant operation of the hotel.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate and deliver:

• Proven success in a hospitality management role, with at least 12 months experience
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV Certificates and Approved Managers licence
• Previous experience in a suburban pub advantageous
• Ability to engage with the community and drive exceptional customer experiences
• Outgoing energetic personality that thrives on customer interaction
• The ability to implement and adhere to policies and procedures
• Reliable and excellent personal presentation
• Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for the industry, its patrons and the people that work within it

Your drive to deliver a consistent high level of customer experience will be the key within this role. All whilst assisting in leading the team to success through a hands on approach teaching new skills and expectations to the staff, to help build a strong hospitality team with a focus on delivering exceptional service towards our customers is a MUST.
