Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day venue operations during allocated shifts.
• Lead, coach and support the hospitality team.

• Manage customer service and resolve guest issues.
• Monitor venue presentation, compliance and safety.
• Assist with rostering and labour requirements.
• Oversee gaming, TAB and other venue operations as required.
• Complete shift reports and communicate key issues to senior management.
• Support training, development and performance management.

Position Requirements

• Previous Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or senior hospitality supervisory experience
• Strong experience leading hospitality teams
• Confident setting expectations and holding team members accountable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience managing busy service periods and multiple operational areas
• Sound understanding of liquor, gaming and venue compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
• RSA and RCG required
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Reliable, hands-on and confident leading from the front
