Job summary

Ocean Shores Country Club in Ocean Shores NSW is seeking a permanent Club House Duty Manager to join our team. This hands-on role leads daily club-house operations, staff, and guest service across a busy seven-day roster.

You will handle cash operations, gaming-related tasks per venue policy, and liaise with golf, bowls, and community groups. RSA/RCG and a current driver's licence are required; hospitality qualifications are desirable. Flexible roster offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality role with leadership experience.
• Experience in club or hotel operations is preferred.
• Ability to manage a rotating roster and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Club House activities and trading operations.
• Motivate and lead staff on rotating rosters.
• Coordinate with golf, bowls and community groups.
• Train new staff in line with Club policies.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety requirements.

Ocean Shores Country Club – Ocean Shores NSW

Located at Ocean Shores NSW, just 30 minutes south of Tweed Heads and around the same north from Byron Bay, Ocean Shores Country Club is looking for a permanent Club House Duty Manager to join our fantastic team.

About you

• A hands-on position with proven experience in the hospitality industry
• Motivated to lead and work as part of a team
• Genuine interest in service and a passion for hospitality
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 7 days and nights on a rotating roster

Qualifications & experience

• Excellent knowledge and practical skills relating to hotel or registered club operations including; cash handling and reconciliation, venue security, bar, coffee shop & gaming operations (including gaming machines, TAB and Keno)
• Hold current NSW RSA & RCG and unrestricted driver’s licence
• Tertiary qualifications in hospitality are desirable

Tasks & responsibilities

• Supervising Club House activities and trading operations
• Motivating and leading staff
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders (e.g. golf, bowls, special interests and community groups)
• Staff training and induction in line with the Club’s policies
• Ensuring compliance with legislative responsibilities
