Job summary

Myndshift Group is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for a major open-cut mining operation near Glenden, Central Queensland. Operate CAT 789+ haul trucks across pits to support production targets in a safety-first team.

On offer is $72 per hour plus superannuation, 7/7 rotating rosters, DIDO/BIBO from Mackay and Townsville, and camp facilities with meals provided. Onboarding requirements include standard 11, coal board medical, and Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CAT 789+ class haul trucks.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures.
• Ability to work independently and within a production team.

New labour hire opportunity near Glenden, Bowen Basin! Dump Truck Operators wanted on CAT 789 and above. $72/hr + Super, immediate start

Looking for your next move in the Bowen Basin? We’re seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join a major open-cut mining operation with a well-established and safety-driven mining contractor.

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a national mining company with a strong presence across Australia's major resource projects, to source experienced operators for a labour hire role at a large-scale open-cut operation near Glenden, Central Queensland.

About the Role

This hands-on production role will see you operating large haul trucks across multiple pits on site, supporting production targets within a high-performing mining team where safety, teamwork and reliability are key.

Equipment across site includes:

• CAT 789, CAT 793, CAT 794, Hitachi EH5000

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in open-pit mining operations
• Proven operating experience on CAT 789 and above class haul trucks or similar
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures
• Ability to work both independently and within a production team
