Redpath Mining is expanding at the BERT Project in Cloncurry, Queensland, and invites experienced Underground Loader Operators to join a high-performing team.

This full-time permanent role offers an even-time 14/14 FIFO roster with flights from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, competitive pay, benefits and career development within a global underground mining contractor. Safety comes first in our culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket.
• Experience operating Sandvik loaders (highly regarded).
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Current Working at Heights certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.
• Complete production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.
• Apply effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Follow all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.

About the Role

As an Underground Loader Operator, you'll play a vital role in keeping production moving safely and efficiently by:

• Operating underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.
• Completing production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.
• Applying effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Following all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.
