Job summary

Baiada, a leading poultry producer, is seeking a Dry Goods Leading Hand via Chandler Macleod to support daily operations at their processing plant. Immediate start with full-time hours; $35.02 per hour plus allowances and penalties, with a strong path to permanency.

As Dry Goods Leading Hand, you will lead the dry goods team, allocate tasks, manage stock rotations, and ensure a safe, efficient work environment while complying with WHS and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills and confidence using stock/admin systems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and lead others.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and following workplace procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Dry Goods team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Allocate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
• Ensure stock is available, rotated correctly and stored in the right locations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Follow company policies, procedures and WHS requirements.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors and other departments.
• Assist with training, coaching and supporting team members.
