Job summary

Electrohire is seeking a hands-on Driver to deliver and collect hired equipment from construction sites across SEQ, coordinate with customers and site teams, and assist with yard duties.

This permanent, full-time role offers ongoing training to gain licences, a strong safety culture, and a down-to-earth team that values reliable service. Applicants should hold MR (HR preferred), forklift licence, and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Current MR Licence; HR Licence highly regarded.
• Safe driving record and strong communication skills.
• Experience in equipment hire, construction, logistics or a similar environment.
• Forklift Licence preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to support the wider yard and delivery team.

About the role

As our Driver you will be responsible for delivering and collecting hired equipment from construction sites across SEQ. You’ll manage deliveries and collections, liaise with customers and site teams, and support the yard team with preparing and receiving equipment as well as assisting with general yard duties as required.

Working closely with the P&E Delivery Manager and wider team to maintain equipment, no two days will be the same. You'll enjoy the variety that comes with assisting with dispatch and receiving, and complete small-item deliveries and collections from customer sites. We're looking for someone who's happy to turn their hand to whatever needs doing and takes pride in delivering great service.
