Job summary

Electrohire is seeking a Driver/Yardperson to support the Sumner Park yard with delivering and collecting equipment across SEQ, and to assist with general yard duties. This hands-on role focuses on safe driving and efficient yard operations, requiring a valid MR licence (HR preferred), a current forklift licence, and a reliable, can-do attitude.

You will be part of a practical, supportive team committed to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Current MR Licence required; HR Licence highly regarded.
• Safe driving record and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in a delivery driver, transport, yard or warehouse environment.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.
• Construction, hire or industrial industry experience advantageous.
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect equipment safely to customer sites across SEQ.
• Load, unload and secure equipment for transport.
• Carry out pre-start checks and basic inspections before equipment leaves and returns to the yard.
• Assist with preparing, receiving and organising equipment ready for dispatch.
• Keep the yard clean, safe and well organised.
• Support the workshop and yard team with general labouring and day-to-day tasks.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment where licensed.
• Maintain delivery records and report any damaged or faulty equipment.
• Work safely at all times and look after company vehicles, tools and equipment.
