Responsibilities

About the role

We are currently seeking amotivated and experienced Driver Trainer to join our growing team.This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven professional whois passionate about safety, training, and developing others withinthe transport industry.

As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for deliveringhigh-quality training and assessment to drivers across a variety ofoperations. This role may involve travel to offsite locations, soflexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities in this role willinclude:

• Assess driver competency against their license andmandatory skills by role
• Provide ongoing training and support to existingdrivers
• Responding to contact from clients, customers andsuppliers
• Facilitating inductions and workplace training
• Maintaining accurate records of assessments andcompliance

To be successful in this role, you willneed:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
• Open MC (Multi-Combination) Driver’s Licence
• Relevant industry tickets and qualifications i.e.; CV, DG,LF
• Demonstrated and certified knowledge of load restraintpractices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy with the ability to use digital training toolsand systems
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel for offsite training andcontracts
