Cleanaway is recruiting a Driver Sidelift at our Somersby depot on the Central Coast, NSW. This full‑time permanent role starts at 4:00am and offers overtime; you will operate a side-lift truck on municipal contracts and regularly move bins during your run.

You must have an HR licence with at least 12 months experience and be prepared to pass pre-employment medical and drug testing. A clean driving record and strong customer service are essential to maintain safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste or related transport is highly regarded.
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential; willing to train the right candidate.

Driver Sidelift

• Full-Time Permanent Role - Somesby Location
• $37.89 + potential overtime, RDO (optional) 4.00am Start
• Must be an experienced HR Driver with 12 months experience

The Opportunity

Based out of our Somersby depot, this role involves operating a side-lift truck. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add to our team. It can be physically demanding, with an expectation that you will regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout your run.

• Side lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts
• Performing loading and unloading duties of waste
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You are an experienced licenced HR driver

• Must have a HR LICENCE with at least 12 months experience
• Strong work background - Waste would be amazing
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential - Will train the right candidate
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start 4.00am
• Clean driving record.

• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
