Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a hands-on Driver – Rear Lift for permanent full-time work at Glendenning, NSW. The role involves more than driving, including physical loading/unloading of hard rubbish, curbside pickups, and delivering to recycling and disposal facilities.

A HR licence with 12+ months experience is essential; a clean driving record and strong customer service are required. Early starts and safety come first.

• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be available for an early morning start.

Responsibilities

• Performing loading and unloading duties of hard rubbish and assisting team.
• Curbside pickup of hard rubbish as required.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction during service.
• Keep vehicle clean and well presented inside and out.

• Full Time Permanent Role - Glendenning Location
• $41.54ph+ potential overtime
• HR Licence required with at least 12 months experience

The Opportunity

This role is not just driving - there is a physical component to this role, the expectation is curbside pickup of hard rubbish

• Working in our hard rubbish team or unit collection team
• Performing loading and unloading duties of hard rubbish - Must be physically fit
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You must have a HR licence with at least 12 months experience

• Must be fit as heavy lifting is essential
• HR Licence - Minimum 12 months experience
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service ethic
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
