Job summary

Cleanaway is hiring for a full-time HR Driver at the Somersby depot. The role involves operating a side-lift truck, early starts at 4.00am, and frequent exiting the cab to move waste bins. You will perform loading/unloading, deliver to facilities, and uphold high customer service while keeping the vehicle in top condition.

We seek an experienced HR licence holder with at least 12 months in waste transport. Training for side-lift use is available, and pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol

Qualifications

• Experienced HR driver with at least 12 months on the job.
• Must be willing to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
• Early morning start at 4.00am.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading and unloading of waste.
• Deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Keep vehicle clean and well presented.

• $37.89 + potential overtime, RDO (optional) 4.00am Start
• Must be an experienced HR Driver with 12 months experience

The Opportunity

Based out of our Somersby depot, this role involves operating a side-lift truck. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add to our team. It can be physically demanding, with an expectation that you will regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout your run.

• Performing loading and unloading duties of waste
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You are an experienced licenced HR driver

• Must have a HR LICENCE with at least 12 months experience
• Strong work background - Waste would be amazing
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential - Will train the right candidate
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start 4.00am
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
