Job summary

Cleanaway, Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, is hiring a full-time HR Driver for our Somersby depot. The role involves operating a side-lift truck, loading/unloading waste, and delivering to recycling and disposal facilities with regular early starts at 4:00am.

You must hold an HR licence with at least 12 months experience, be prepared to exit the cab to move bins, and pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Must have HR Licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
• Early morning start at 4:00am and ability to exit the cab to move bins.
• Strong safety focus and commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading and unloading of waste.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain presentation of the vehicle inside and out.

• $37.89 + potential overtime, RDO (optional) 4.00am Start
• Must be an experienced HR Driver with 12 months experience

The Opportunity

Based out of our Somersby depot, this role involves operating a side-lift truck. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add to our team. It can be physically demanding, with an expectation that you will regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout your run.

• Performing loading and unloading duties of waste
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You are an experienced licenced HR driver

• Must have a HR LICENCE with at least 12 months experience
• Strong work background - Waste would be amazing
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential - Will train the right candidate
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start 4.00am
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
