Lindsay Australia Limited seeks a skilled HC driver for a new operation in North Queensland. You will be responsible for daily pick-up and delivery runs, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining safety standards across a growing fleet and expanding depots.

Qualifications

• Experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations
• Safe driving record with strong safety and compliance

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs
• Deliver freight on time and without damage
• Load, unload and secure freight
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and procedures
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle
• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service

• Ability to safely load, unload and secure freight
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Confidence using electronic proof of delivery and transport system
• A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
