Job summary

Coates in Brisbane is seeking a permanent full-time heavy vehicle driver based at Eagle Farm or Kingston. You will safely and professionally deliver and pick up equipment to site locations, with a focus on deadlines and safety.

You'll operate tilt trays and access equipment with EWP/Tilt Tray licences highly regarded, secure loads, and maintain yard organisation. Training, discounts, and salary-sacrifice options are available.

Qualifications

• Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence; EWP and Tilt tray licences highly regarded.
• Experience loading/unloading equipment with correct restraints.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
• Reliable customer service skills and basic technology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
• Effectively secure freight loads to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location for efficient retrieval.
• Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray (e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts).
• Perform general yard duties maintaining an organized, safe yard.

This role, based out of our Eagle Farm or Kingston branch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptionalcustomer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
• Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard
