Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our Gracemere Somerset team. This is a local pickup and delivery role servicing customers across Gracemere and surrounding areas.

You will complete local deliveries and pickups safely, efficiently and professionally while providing excellent service to our customers. The role requires a current HR licence and involves driving HR vehicles, loading/unloading freight, and ensuring safety and compliance with CoR requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid HR licence is mandatory.
• Experience with local PUD, general freight or transport.
• Knowledge of load restraint and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Ability to load, unload, and secure freight safely.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete local pickups and deliveries across Gracemere and surrounding areas.
• Operate HR vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections as required.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Ensure freight is secured and transported per CoR requirements.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks.
• Complete delivery documentation, scanning and manifests accurately.
• Communicate effectively with Operations, customers and other drivers.
