Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is hiring a HR Driver for a casual position with full-time hours out of the Morningside depot in Brisbane. The role offers an hourly rate of 46.86 AUD with overtime opportunities and requires an unrestricted HR Licence.

You will operate a rear-lift waste collection vehicle, handle loading/unloading, and deliver to recycling or disposal facilities while maintaining vehicle presentation and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential; training provided.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Morningside QLD depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Driver for work performing essential services throughout the region.

As a HR Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating waste vehicle collection such as rear lift
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, material or consignments
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we’ll support the right person to learn
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Presentable, professional, and customer-focused
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
• Open to building a long-term career with development opportunities
