Job summary

REMONDIS Weipa is seeking a reliable driver to operate modern trucks such us Front Lift, Hook Lift and Liquid Tankers on local projects around Weipa and nearby sites.

This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday roster with early starts at 6:00am, weekend overtime, full training and a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.

Safety is the priority at REMONDIS; you will join a supportive team with a strong safety culture and ongoing license upgrading opportunities.

Qualifications

• HR license is highly desirable.
• Experience driving a Heavy Rigid truck is highly regarded.
• Waste industry experience would be beneficial.
• Proof of entitlement to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate modern trucks such us Front Lift, Hook Lift and Liquid Tankers.
• Work across commercial and industrial, mine sites and residential sectors.
• Transport, and dispose of waste locally.
• Work safely on commercial & industrial sites around other heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily safety checks and paperwork.
• Work independently most of the time with occasional team-based tasks.
