Job summary

Boral, via Concrite Canberra Mini-Mixed Concrete, seeks a Casual Mini Agitator Driver for the Fyshwick Concrete Plant to deliver high-quality concrete to residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

You’ll receive comprehensive training from a Driver Trainer, operate Mini Agitator Trucks safely, and contribute to positive customer experiences on every job. The role offers consistent casual hours, ongoing support and real opportunities to progress within Concrite and Boral.

Qualifications

• Current MR Driver's Licence.
• Strong experience driving trucks.
• Reliable, safety-focused and customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the concrete, construction or transport industry will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and operate Mini Agitator Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Manage concrete slump tolerance levels and ensure safe discharge (full training provided).
• Deliver concrete to customer sites while providing outstanding customer service.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with production, allocation and customer teams to ensure smooth operations and positive customer experiences.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Casual Mini Agitator Driver to join the Concrite/Canberra Mini-Mixed Concrete team based at our Fyshwick Concrete Plant. In this hands-on role, you'll play an important part in helping build our local communities by delivering high-quality concrete to a variety of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

You'll receive comprehensive training from a dedicated Driver Trainer, including the safe operation of a Mini Agitator Truck and the skills required to provide exceptional service to our valued customers. From driveways to major construction projects, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to work that makes a lasting impact.

Your Day Will Involve

• Conducting daily pre-start vehicle inspections and operating our Mini Agitator Trucks safely and efficiently
• Managing concrete slump tolerance levels and the safe discharge of concrete (full training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites while providing outstanding customer service
• Completing delivery documentation accurately and efficiently
• Communicating effectively with production, allocation and customer teams to ensure smooth operations and positive customer experiences

What We're Looking For

• Current MR Driver's Licence
• Strong experience driving trucks is essential
