Job summary

Boral Concrete is seeking a dedicated driver to operate agitator trucks from our Pambula Concrete Plant. You’ll be trained by a Driver Trainer and deliver concrete to customers, from driveways to stadiums, while upholding safety and service standards.

Your day includes pre-checks, managing slump, delivering to sites, and completing basic paperwork. Join a community-focused team with overtime on offer and strong career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence with heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Valid White Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Interest in the concrete industry with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operate agitator trucks safely.
• Manage slump tolerance levels and discharge of concrete (training provided).
• Deliver concrete to customer sites and liaise with clients to maintain service quality.
• Complete basic documentation related to collection and delivery of concrete.
• Communicate with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.

As a Boral driver based out of our Pambula Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral’s concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Your day will involve

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
• Valid white card or willingness to obtain one
• Interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded with full training provided
