Boral Concrete Mareeba Plant seeks a Driver to join our team. You will operate agitator trucks, conduct safety pre-checks, and deliver concrete to a range of customer sites across varied infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-checks on agitator trucks and operate them safely.
• Manage slump tolerance levels and discharge of concrete (training provided).
• Deliver concrete to customer sites and liaise with clients to maintain service quality.
• Complete basic delivery documentation and communicate with production staff.

Your next opportunity

We are reopening out Mareeba Concrete Plant and have multiple opportunities for Drivers. As a Boraldriverbased out of ourMareeba Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral's concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high-quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Your day will involve:

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
• White card
• Interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded with full training provided
• A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
