Job summary

Metcash Caboolture is seeking a dedicated Driver for a full-time position. You will safely operate trucks, deliver to building sites, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with WHS standards.

You will hold a valid Car Licence with additional forklift or heavy vehicle competencies viewed favorably. Join a stable team with a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, and contribute to reliable daily operations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Car Licence - essential.
• Forklift Licence and other heavy vehicle competencies are highly regarded.
• Experience picking and packing orders in a warehouse or building supplies environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to building sites across surrounding areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company professionally at all times.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries to support smooth daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and store teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring correct quantities and safe load restraint.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and manual handling where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with WHS standards.
• Complete delivery paperwork and basic system updates accurately and efficiently.

About the role

Are you a skilled and reliable Driver looking for a fulfilling role with a reputable company? Our Hardings / Hudson Caboolture business is seeking a dedicated Driver team member to join our team on a full-time basis.

You will enjoy a stable 38-hour week work schedule working, Monday to Friday. You will provide excellent customer service and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. You will hold a current car license and a HR licence.

What you will be doing:

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to building sites across the surrounding areas.

What You Will Bring

• Current and valid Car Licence - essential
• Forklift Licence, Heavy Combination, Crane Competency - high regarded
• Experience picking and packing orders in a warehouse, trade, or building supplies environment (highly regarded).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling (some heavy lifting required).
• Ability to confidently deliver to active building sites and follow site safety requirements.
• A reliable, team-focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
