Job summary

Max Stocks Food Service is seeking a reliable full-time Delivery Driver to join our Rockhampton team. This role operates a Monday to Friday roster and requires a self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.

You will handle stock, load/unload vehicles, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role suits a dependable team player with a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland MR or HR drivers' licence (essential).
• Forklift Licence (preferable).
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver / Store Person or in a similar warehousing/logistics role
• Previous merchandising experience is highly desirable
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred but not essential
• Customer focused with an appreciation for being the 'public face' of the company
• Good organisation, communication and time-management skills
• Enthusiastic and reliable approach to work
• Highly motivated and flexible, with a solid work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
• Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems and learn a broad range of products
• Physically fit and able to undertake the duties of the role, including lifting/manual handling and repetitive entering/exiting of a vehicle

• Receiving, storing and dispatching stock, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Picking and packing customer orders with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Maintaining the warehouse and storage areas in a clean, safe and organised manner
• Load and unload delivery vehicles with care to ensure products arrive undamaged
• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver food products to customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and quality standards

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and responsible full-time Delivery Driver to join our Rockhampton team. Working a Monday to Friday roster, this role will require a self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a crucial part of the wider team, ensuring the delivery of goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
