Team Global Express in Newcastle is seeking a reliable HR Truck Driver to operate tautliner and tailgate trucks for local deliveries. The role is a permanent full-time position with Monday to Friday hours, and start times around 7:30–9:00 AM depending on operations. Overtime may be available.

Key duties include safe vehicle operation, load security, daily pre-start checks, and accurate delivery documentation while delivering excellent customer service with a strong emphasis on safety.

Responsabilidades

Team Global Express is looking for a reliable and safety-focused HR Truck Driver to join our team in Newcastle.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday with start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on operational requirements. Overtime is available when required.

You'll be responsible for completing local pick-ups and deliveries, operating tautliner and tailgate trucks, and providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate HR tautliner and tailgate vehicles.

Complete local deliveries and pick-ups within scheduled timeframes.

Load and hand unload freight when required.

Secure and restrain loads using the correct load restraint equipment.

Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections and report defects.

Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation.

Follow all Team Global Express safety procedures and policies.

Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with company procedures.

Work closely with the operations team to deliver outstanding customer service.
