Express Employment Professionals – Newcastle NSW is recruiting MC, HC and HR Truck Drivers for casual/temporary roles across the transport and logistics sector. Roles include local deliveries, general freight and heavy vehicle operations, with opportunities across Newcastle and surrounding areas.

• Current MC/HC/HR driver’s licence relevant to the position.
• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate MC/HC/HR heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport and deliver goods to various locations.
• Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Load, unload and secure freight as required.
• Complete local, regional or interstate deliveries.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and logbooks.
• Follow road safety, fatigue management requirements and transport regulations.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch teams, customers and other team members.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your position, your responsibilities may include:

• Operating MC, HC or HR heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transporting and delivering goods to various locations
• Completing pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting defects
• Loading, unloading and securing freight where required
• Completing local, regional or interstate deliveries
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and logbooks
• Following road safety, fatigue management requirements and transport regulations
• Communicating professionally with dispatch teams, customers and other team members

About You:

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• A current MC, HC or HR driver's licence relevant to the position
• Previous truck driving experience (preferred)
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Full working rights in Australia
