Job summary

Team Global Express in Singleton, NSW is seeking an experienced HR Driver for permanent full-time local pickup and delivery work. You will operate tautliner and tailgate trucks, service businesses and the community, and start around 7:00am, Monday to Friday.

You will load/unload freight, ensure safe handling and load restraint, complete records with scanning equipment, and coordinate with the Operations team on delays or requirements.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver Licence (mandatory).
• Experience as an HR truck driver is preferred.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete local pickups and deliveries throughout Singleton and surrounding areas.
• Operate HR tautliner and tailgate trucks safely and professionally.
• Load and unload general freight at customer and depot locations.
• Use tailgate equipment to safely complete deliveries and collections.
• Ensure freight is secured according to load restraint requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle pre-start checks and report defects.
• Check freight and delivery documentation for accuracy.
• Use scanning equipment and complete required delivery records.
• Plan and manage daily deliveries efficiently.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
• Communicate with Operations regarding delays or requirements.
• Follow Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and safety requirements.
• Report hazards, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
