Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a dedicated Driver to support the Australian Defence Force from Gallipoli, Enogerra. You will transport ADF personnel and conduct routine vehicle inspections under the Transport Manager’s guidance.

Role requires a current Class C licence, readiness to obtain Defence Clearance, a pre-employment physical, and the ability to work autonomously while ensuring safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Current Class C Driver Licence is essential.
• Knowledge of the Cairns area.
• Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic records.
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll play an important role in providing safe and efficient transportation services while supporting Defence operations and personnel.
