Job summary

Boart Longyear is expanding its WA drilling operations and is inviting applications for Driller Assistants on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth. This full-time role supports daily site activities and safety-focused operations across our water well projects.

You will conduct pre-start checks, assist with muds and fluids, support rig setup, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Applicants must have HR-B or HR license, a current C class manual license, and be WA-based; police

Qualifications

• Commitment to health & safety in field operations.
• Ability to work in a FIFO environment from Perth.
• WA-based residency and driving licences are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start equipment and safety checks.
• Assist with loading/unloading heavy vehicles and rig setup.
• Support with drilling muds/fluids/chemicals/cement as directed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.

We are expanding our workforce due to growth in our Water Well drilling operations and are currently taking applications for Driller Assistants with a strong commitment to Health & Safety and teamwork. This is a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.

• Assisting with loading and unloading heavy vehicles & rig set up

• Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment

A few things we’re looking for:

• HR-B or HR Unrestricted Drivers License (or working towards is essential)

• Current C Class Manual Driver's License (essential)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test and full functional assessment

• National Police Clearance within 6 months (or ability to obtain one)

• Currently living in WA (essential)

All candidates will be required to submit a recent National PoliceClearance and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical.
