Job summary

Boart Longyear is seeking applications for experienced Driller Assistants/Offsiders for work with a tier-one global client. Successful candidates will show a commitment to safety and quality, working on a 2/2 FIFO roster from Adelaide, with competitive shift and bonus rates.

Applicants must be residents of South Australia, possess the ability to drive a manual vehicle, and demonstrate a personal commitment to safety in a respectful workplace. Ongoing training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous offsiding experience is desirable but not essential.
• Resident of South Australia is essential.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Involved in daily pre-start equipment checks and general maintenance.
• Complete safety documentation and comply with safe work practices.
• Physically lift 30kgs repetitively in a labour-intensive role.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Driller Assistants/Offsiders or those looking to enter the industry for current and upcoming work with a tier one Global client. The successful candidates will be self‑motivated and show a demonstrated history of working to strict safety and quality standards. On offer is a 2/2 FIFO roster from Adelaide with competitive shift and bonus rates.

Responsibilities

• Roles are based in South Australia
• 2/1 and 2/2 rosters available. Flights from Adelaide
• Safety first with involvement in daily pre‑start equipment checks, general maintenance, completion of safety documentation and compliance with safe work practices

Qualifications

• Previous offsiding experience (desirable but not essential)
• Resident of South Australia (essential)
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to provide one)
• Ability to pass a comprehensive pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
• Physical ability to lift 30kgs repetitively in a labour‑intensive role
• Right to work in Australia
• Demonstrated personal commitment to safety
