Action Drill & Blast seeks experienced Diesel Fitters or light vehicle mechanics for our Caboolture Workshop on a Monday to Friday roster with overtime opportunities.

This role involves full strip downs and rebuilds of blast hole drill rigs and auxiliary mining equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, efficient workshop and have access to development opportunities within the NRW Holdings group.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to the workshop environment.
• Act with integrity and reliability in all tasks.
• Forklift licence and basic hydraulic hose/ fittings knowledge are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Overburden Drills.
• Complete strip downs and rebuilds of Drill Rigs and Mining Equipment.
• Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.

We are currently seeking applicationsfrom experienced Diesel Fitters or light vehicle mechanics for ourCaboolture Workshop on a Monday to Friday roster with overtimeopportunities available.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role completes full stripdown and rebuildsof our blast hole drill rigs as well as auxilliary miningequipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will beresponsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Performing maintenance and repairs on OverburdenDrills.

Completing strip downs and rebuilds of Drill Rigs andMining Equipment

Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenancereporting needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with hydraulic hose and fittings identification(Desirable)


• Drill Fitter experience is not required


• Forklift Licence (Desirable)

Subject to the Workshop's workloaddemands, there is also an opportunity for you to completedeployments to mine sites to gain further experience. Ongoingtraining opportunities offered with the potential for a Trade upgrade to be completed with us.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employmentmedical assessments including a drug and alcoholscreen.
