Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy 2.0, Australia’s largest renewable energy project. The role focuses on managing sections of works to meet time, cost, quality, safety and contractual targets, and to implement procedures for timely production and budget compliance.

The successful candidate will develop detailed programmes, improve construction methodologies, and coordinate with supervisors, graduate engineers, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Teritary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent and White Card.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in construction in a similar role on large-scale projects.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed day-to-day and look-ahead programs with required resources and materials.
• Improve construction methodologies and select alternative materials.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules; coordinate with other sections and site teams.
• Lead Graduate and Site Engineer development and provide regular performance feedback.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and external parties and ensure policy compliance.
