Foxleigh Mine in Queensland is seeking an experienced CHPP Operator/Maintainer – Electrical to join our team and help shape the future of our processing operations. This is more than just a role; it’s your chance to set new standards in reliability, safety and continuous improvement at Foxleigh.

We value a strong safety mindset and fixed plant operations experience. The successful candidate will possess an Electrical Fitter Licence (QLD) and the relevant RI qualifications to operate and maintain

Qualifications

Electrical Fitter Licence (QLD) is required.
HV switching competency is desirable.
RIIPRO301D/RIIPRO302D/RIISAM208D/RIIWBP203D/RIIMCP301D qualifications are preferred.
Experience in fixed plant operations and coal preparation plants.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor CHPP to deliver PCI coal to targets.
Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance; address minor breakdowns.
Maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency across CHPP, Train Loadout and Yard.
Collaborate with team to drive site improvements for safety and performance.
Adhere to site safety, health and environmental standards.

RIIPRO301D – Conduct crushing and screening plant operations

RIIPRO302D – Perform processing control room operations

RIISAM208D – Perform plant operational maintenance

RIIWBP203D – Treat and dispose of rejects and tailings

About Foxleigh Mine:

Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 26th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. At Foxleigh we take great pride in achieving our objectives and for us wining is the combination of care and results.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate and monitor Foxleigh’s CHPP to deliver consistent, high-quality PCI coal in line with production targets.
Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance, and attend to minor breakdowns, using your skills and experience to be resourceful and keep the plant running reliably.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment across the CHPP, Train Loadout, and Yard, showing care and respect for your teammates, equipment, and the environment.
Work closely with a tight-knit team to drive practical, site-specific improvements that enhance safety, performance, and efficiency.
Adhere to site safety, health, and environmental standards.
