Job summary

A Drainage Operator role at Armidale Regional Council is based in Guyra. You will contribute to maintaining drainage infrastructure across the region, operating plant and equipment and working with a dedicated Transport team in a hands-on outdoor setting.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and practical problem-solving with opportunities for ongoing training and development. A permanent full-time position with a 9-day fortnight is available, starting with a competitive weekly rate.

Armidale Regional Council is seeking a motivated Drainage Operator to join our Transport team, based in Guyra.

In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain, repair and construct drainage infrastructure across the region, operating plant and equipment while working alongside a dedicated team. If you enjoy practical outdoor work, have a strong focus on safety, and take pride in delivering essential infrastructure that supports the community, we'd like to hear from you.

About you

You will bring:

• $1,272 per week + super, based on a 38-hour week
• Permanent full-time position
• 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off)
