Job summary

WorkPac Group is recruiting for a Dragline Operator at a coal mine near Moranbah. You will operate an 8050 Dragline, working alongside the Dragline Department, on a 12.5‑hour shift pattern.

Shifts run on a 7/7 roster with day/night rotation. Opportunities include DIDO, FIFO and residential (Moranbah) candidates, with support from recruitment coordinators and site management.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Marion 8050 Draglines in a coal mine.
• Must hold Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to obtain this.
• SSE Signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.

Our client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. They operate seven Bowen Basin mine sites with roles available across the operations with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.

What you will be doing

You will be working as a Dragline Operator on a coal mine near Moranbah. You will be operating a 8050 Dragline working alongside D10 & D11 Dozers within the Dragline Department. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday rotating day and night shift roster. Roles are available for DIDO, FIFO and residential (Moranbah) candidates.

What you will need

• Previous mining experience operating Marion 8050 Draglines within a coal mining environment
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• SSE Signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
