E L Workforce is seeking an experienced draftsman for a hands-on role in our Eastern Suburbs Melbourne workshop. You will translate concepts into manufacturable drawings and collaborate with design, estimating and production teams to keep projects on track.

Key tasks include producing CAD drawings, shop drawings and cutting lists, interpreting plans, and ensuring documentation is production-ready within tight schedules. A practical, detail‑driven approach is essential.

Formación

• Experience as a Draftsperson in commercial joinery/shopfitting environments.
• Strong CAD drafting skills.
• Experience producing shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Understanding of joinery construction and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with production and project teams.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to drafting.

Responsabilidades

• Producing detailed CAD drawings for commercial joinery and shopfitting projects.
• Preparing accurate shop drawings for manufacture.
• Creating detailed cutting lists and production documentation.
• Interpreting architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Working with the production team to ensure drawings are manufacturing-ready.
• Making revisions and resolving drafting or production issues as required.
• Ensuring drawings and documentation are accurate, detailed and completed within project timeframes.
