Total Fire Solutions is seeking a Draftsperson to join the Heatherbrae Engineering Division. This full-time, office-based role focuses on producing detailed engineering drawings for electrical and mechanical fire protection systems across commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliant, accurate designs and project documentation throughout the lifecycle, with professional development and diverse project exposure in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with demonstrated engineering drawings experience.
• Experience drafting electrical and mechanical fire protection systems or willingness to learn.

Our team is comprised of specialist fire protection professionals, contractors, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and electricians who not only install, but also maintain and provide ongoing support for your fire protection system.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Draftsperson to join our Engineering Division based at our Heatherbrae office. This is a full time, office based position supporting the design and delivery of electrical and mechanical fire protection systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed engineering and design drawings, preparing project documentation, and supporting the Engineering team throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with engineers, internal and external stakeholders to develop accurate, compliant, and practical fire protection system designs.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within a growing business, with ongoing support and professional development available. The role is based in our Heatherbrae office and operates on a standard Monday to Friday work schedule.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with demonstrated experience producing technical and engineering drawings
• Experience in drafting electrical and mechanical fire protection systems, or a willingness to learn
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to producing high quality work
