Job summary

Berwick Fabrications in Melbourne is seeking a detail-driven drafting / project coordinator to join our growing team. You will produce accurate fabrication drawings and coordinate project information from concept through installation.

You’ll manage multiple projects, update plans after client feedback, and support project managers with documentation, while collaborating with clients, architects and engineers in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting architectural metalwork or fabrication.
• Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing client drawings, shop drawings & fabrication documents.
• Completing site measures.

About the Role

This is a dynamic position suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across both drafting and project coordination.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality fabrication drawings, coordinating project information, and supporting workflow from concept through to installation. This role is ideal for someone who loves both the technical side of drafting and the organisational challenges of managing project documentation.

Your day could include

• Preparing client drawings, shop drawings & fabrication documents
