Job summary

Morgan Consulting Engineers (MCE) is seeking a Drafter to join our Brisbane team in a full-time, office-based role. You’ll draft and coordinate project documentation across multiple engineering projects, working closely with engineers and our drafting team to reflect approved information.

You will use AutoCAD, Revit and related systems, manage multiple priorities, and perform thorough checks to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous drafting experience or a relevant drafting qualification/training.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• The ability to organise your workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Confidence asking questions and seeking clarification when information isn't clear.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A willingness to learn, take feedback and continue developing your technical skills.

Responsibilities

Morgan Consulting Engineers (MCE) is a structural and civil engineering consultancy that has been operating in Brisbane since 1972.

With around 55 employees across multiple engineering disciplines, we’re an established business with a friendly, down-to-earth team and a busy project environment. We’re looking for a Drafter to join our team in a full-time, office-based role.

The Role

This is a varied drafting role where you’ll work across a range of engineering projects and work closely with our engineers and broader Drafting team to produce accurate, coordinated project documentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare accurate and coordinated drawings, models, details, schedules and project documentation.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant drafting and document management systems.
