Job summary

Thiess is seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join our Curragh North team in Queensland. You will operate dozers and ancillary equipment to support production targets, while upholding safety and efficiency norms on site.

This full-time role offers a 7/7 day/night roster, CAT D10/D11 experience, MineStar familiarity, and a strong safety culture. You’ll contribute to safe, productive mining operations alongside a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience operating dozers in an open cut coal mining environment.
• Proven experience operating CAT tracked dozers, ideally D10 and D11.
• Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current Standard 11
• Experience with CAT MineStar technologies, including Command for Haulage, Fleet and/or Terrain, will be highly regarded.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Dozer Operator with a commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Dozer Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North.

As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll support safe and efficient production by operating dozers and other ancillary equipment while contributing to high-performing mining operations.

Roster: 7/7 Day Night Rotating | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time

As a Dozer Operator, you will:

• Operate dozers and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
