Job summary

Thiess is seeking experienced Water-Truck Operators to join our Curragh North team in Central Queensland. You’ll operate water-trucks safely to support production targets and contribute to a productive, safety-first mining operation.

The role requires at least 12 months of water-truck experience in open cut coal mining, with Caterpillar 785 C/D or equivalent equipment. A current Standard 11 and valid licence are essential, and teamwork is emphasised.

• Experience in hard rock mining operations will be highly regarded
• Verified machinery skills list signed by an SSE or delegate

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Water-Truck Operator with a strong commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Water-Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North.

As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll play an important role in supporting safe, efficient mining operations by operating haul trucks and contributing to a productive, safety-focused team environment.

Roster: 7:7 DN | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time

As the Truck Operator, you will:

• Operate water-trucks safely and efficiently to support production targets.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.

You’ll bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to operating safely and efficiently in a dynamic mining environment.
