The candidate will manage driver qualifications, HOS compliance, and third-party carrier oversight, collaborating with maintenance and legal teams to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing DOT and FMCSA compliance, preferably in a fleet or logistics environment.
• Skills: Proficiency with compliance software and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of HAZMAT transportation regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Oversight: Ensure full compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Fleet Compliance: Oversee vehicle maintenance records and SOP alignment.
• Driver Compliance: Maintain driver qualifications, certifications, and training; monitor HOS.
• Carrier Compliance: Monitor third-party carriers’ compliance and authorities.
• Audits & Continuous Improvement: Conduct audits and track CSA scores.
• Collaboration & Training: Train trucking leadership on compliance practices; collaborate with legal teams.
• Oversee compliance related to the transportation of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT).
