Job summary

MSWA is seeking a permanent part-time Domestic Assistant at Treendale Gardens, Australia, to provide essential domestic support that enhances residents' comfort, wellbeing and quality of life. You will help maintain clean, welcoming living environments and deliver services in a respectful, person-centered manner.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• NDIS Worker’s Orientation Module Certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organised, and committed to providing high-quality support.
• Understanding of safe work practices and infection control principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linen and client-related items.
• Clean, sanitise, and maintain clients' urinary equipment in accordance with infection control and hygiene standards.
• Monitor and restock Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning products, and other consumables to ensure adequate supplies are always available.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and changes in resident wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Residential Services team.
• Build positive relationships with residents while promoting dignity and independence.
• Complete documentation and reporting requirements accurately and promptly.

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll be a valued member of our Residential Services team, providing essential domestic support that enhances residents' comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life. You'll help maintain clean and welcoming living environments while delivering services in a respectful, person‑centred manner that supports individual needs and preferences.

This is a permanent part‑time opportunity available at our Treendale Gardens location. Weekend work is required.

Key Responsibilities
