Job summary

MS Plus in Sydney is seeking a dedicated disability support worker to provide SIL support, personal care, daily living assistance and community engagement for clients in specialist accommodation. You will collaborate with a skilled team, follow individualised support plans, and uphold safety and rights of people with disabilities.

Applicants should have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and hold current First Aid and CPR.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support or aged/home care.
• Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You.
• Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Have working rights in Australia.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

What We’re Looking For:

• Empathy and compassion in supporting individuals with disabilities and elderly clients.
• Previous experience in disability support and/or aged/home care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
• Have completed theNDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’.
• Have a clear NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Knowledge desirable: understanding of NDIS and able to implement individualised tailored support plans in day-to-day routines, ensuring clients receive the support and services they need.
• Reliable, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Working rights in Australia.
• A current First Aid (obtained within two years) and current CPR
