Job summary

Stralis Energy Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Dogman / Rigger for our Maryvale Solar & Energy Storage project. You will work with crane crews to move materials on a large solar and battery storage site, ensuring safety and accuracy during lifts.

Ideal candidates hold a Dogman and Rigger ticket, with a Crane (C1) ticket highly regarded. A valid White Card, Drivers Licence, Telehandler licence, and safety mindset are essential for daily on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Experienced Dogman with Rigger ticket highly regarded.
• Crane (C1) ticket highly regarded; minimal crane operation expected.
• Demonstrated experience in fast-paced environment with multiple lifts per day.
• Rigging gear setup, dogging battery storage units during lifts, and precise placement confirmation.

• Safely guide loads onto foundation pads and confirm correct placement before release.
• Assist with multiple lifts per day in a fast-paced solar/battery site.

About the Role

We're currently recruiting an experienced Dogman / Rigger to join our construction team at the Maryvale Solar & Energy Storage project.

Working alongside our crane crews and construction teams, you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials across a large, fast-paced solar and battery storage site. Day to day you'll be:

We welcome applications from local candidates, and candidates travelling to the project on a roster basis.

This is a casual position with a projected start mid-October.

• Monday to Friday roster.
• Above award hourly rates and applicable penalty rates.

Skills and Experience

• Experienced Dogman, with Rigger ticket highly regarded
• Additional Crane (C1) ticket also highly regarded. Minimal crane operation expected.
• Demonstrated experience with a fast paced environment - assisting with multiple lifts per day
• Duties include setting rigging gear, dogging battery storage units during crane lifts, safely guiding loads onto foundation pads and confirming correct placement and alignment before release
• Drivers Licence is essential.
• HR Licence is desirable.
• White Card is essential.
• Telehandler licence - essential

• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
• Must be an experienced, competent and safety-conscious plant operator.
• Experience working on utility network projects, including Essential Energy or Energex, is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively on large-scale construction projects while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.
• Show good attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude.
• Be fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
• Able to pass daily breath testing and random drug testing on site.
