Job summary

2XM Recruit in Perth is seeking a recruitment leader to head a blue-collar mining desk, mentoring a team of recruiters and a mobilization coordinator. The role offers the opportunity to influence service delivery and drive growth while maintaining a hands-on leadership style.

You will work within a five-person leadership team, align market strategies, and mentor consultants to achieve high performance. Attitude and career focus are emphasized as key success drivers.

Qualifications

• Recruitment leadership at some level with ambition and desire to succeed.
• Mining networks and experience recruiting within the sector.
• Confident – able to build rapport with people over the phone or in person.
• Keen to commit to a vertical desk and become the very best.
• Articulate communicator with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and CRM experience.

What does a typical 2XM day look like?

• Set team up for success across 3 core markets within Mining - Civil, Electrical and Mechanical (look to add to this with your expertise in Mining recruitment)
• Drive market intel and identify labour requirements, projects, and emerging opportunities
• Maintain commercial discipline around pricing, margins, candidate quality, and client performance
• Work within the leadership team, adding value and strategic initiativesto continue to improve our business
• Deliver and grow an existing 360 deskBuild and action a sales plan / strategy and, developvalue-based relationships with both new and known clients & prospects
• Recruitment Specialist - develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for specific roles you recruit
• Screen & interview candidates - Conduct thorough phone / face to face interviews to ensure you're only sending the very best candidates forward to your clients!

Having operated in the WA market for over 15 years, we have a recognised brand and, a great story to tell. The role will form part of a 5 person leadership team in Perth and involve collaboration with other state leaders. You will spend time with the current Manager for a very thorough handover (efore they depart on their travel journey in October).The role will ultimately suit someone that enjoys the opportunity to develop team members, set high standards and lead from the front across recruitment and client growth.
