Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Bendigo is seeking an entry-level all-rounder to manage stock and equipment, with inventory duties and strong admin support. You will ensure orders are processed, inventories are accurate and staff receive required equipment and service in a practical, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Experience with stores, warehousing or inventory management functions is critical.
• Previous administration experience is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stores duties inclusive of stock management, lifting >15kg, receipting incoming goods, picking and packing outgoing items, labelling & tracking.
• Warehouse and logistics including PPC/E management, order collation dispatch and repairs.
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and coordinate purchasing requirements.
• Maintaining and updating stores and financial information within CFA systems including SAP and RMS.
• Adhoc administrative and office support duties.
• Coordinating meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, venue bookings and catering requirements.
• Records administration and data entry.
• Database and systems coordination.
• Accounts payable administration.
• Building effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Participating in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications.
