CitiPower and Powercor in Echuca is seeking a Lineworker – Distribution to construct, operate and maintain overhead and underground distribution networks, delivering safe, reliable power to customers.

Based in Echuca, you will join a field-based team, with rosters that may require away-from-home duties and adherence to safety and regulatory obligations. The role offers a competitive salary, plus 13% super and allowances under the enterprise agreement.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (or equivalent) is mandatory.
• ESI Worker is mandatory for Victoria-based candidates, including VESI Rigging.
• ESV licence as a Lineworker or eligible to apply (mandatory).
• Heavy Vehicle Licence - HR (mandatory).
• High Voltage Operating training / authority (mandatory).
• Interstate applicants should attach evidence of Qualification, Statement of Attainment, High Risk Licences and Construction Induction Card.

Responsabilités

• Undertake construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead and underground transmission/distribution systems.
• Operate plant, tools and equipment in relation to distribution systems.
• Locate and rectify faults.
• Install and maintain metering at customers premises.
• Install and maintain overhead and underground services.
• Manage work priorities and make decisions about time required to complete tasks and attend client appointments.
