Job summary

Service Stream’s Power Division is seeking experienced Distribution Lineworkers to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. You will contribute to maintenance and construction across the Ausgrid distribution network, helping ensure safe, reliable power supply to customers throughout the region.

The position is permanent and full-time, located in Wetherill Park, reporting to the Works Manager. You will perform pole replacements, cable work, and lighting projects while upholding high safety standards.

• Qualified Distribution Lineworker with experience on overhead networks.
• Current High Risk Work Licence and Construction White Card.
• HV operating authorities and licences required.

About the Role

Distribution Lineworkers | Wetherill Park, NSW

Service Stream’s Power Division is seeking experienced and trade-qualified Distribution Lineworkers to join our team based in Wetherill Park, Sydney.

Reporting to the Works Manager , you will play a key role in delivering maintenance and construction works across the Ausgrid electricity distribution network , helping to ensure a safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply to customers throughout the region.

Reporting To: Works Manager

About the Role

As a Distribution Lineworker, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for the construction, maintenance, and upgrade of Ausgrid’s distribution network.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Timber and steel pole replacements
• Defect rectification works
• Crossarm replacements
• Emergency response and restoration activities
• Service wire replacements
• LED streetlighting installation and maintenance programs
• General network construction and maintenance activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Distribution Lineworker with demonstrated experience working on overhead electricity networks.

You will hold:

• Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (Powerline) or equivalent trade qualification
• Relevant HV operating authorities and licences
• Current High Risk Work Licence
• Construction White Card

In addition, you will demonstrate:

• A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
• The ability to work productively while meeting project targets and deadlines
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

The following licences and tickets will be highly regarded:

• Forklift Licence
• Chainsaw Ticket
• Dogging Ticket(s)
